The mission of the NJCEA is to assess issues impacting the cannabis industry through the lens of equity, to build consensus among critical stakeholders, and to advance related public policy.

Who qualifies for membership in NJCEA?

Any Diversely-Owned (WBE, MBE, DVOB) entity at any stage in the NJ CRC licensing process (ex. Prospective applicant, conditional license awardee, operational licensee, etc.)

Any entity certified as a MBE, WBE, DVOB, or VOB operating in any industry with any function that is committed to the NJCEA’s mission

Any entity licensed by the NJ CRC to operate a cannabis business in New Jersey that may not be diversely owned but that can demonstrate an organizational commitment to social equity through its leadership structure, its business activities, its corporate mission, etc.

Any entity operating in any industry with any function that can demonstrate an organizational commitment to social equity through its leadership structure, its business activities, its corporate mission, etc.

(Available to any individual or business in any industry, including but not limited to cannabis license holders.)

Caucus-Level Members
(A special category of membership for New Jersey cannabis license holders just starting out.)

(Available to first-year operators licensed by the CRC)

$1,000 Annual Dues
(Available to pre-operational awardees for licenses from the CRC)
